Contents & Formulation

Each mL of the solution contains 1 mg of xylometazoline HCl (0.1%). The other ingredients are sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sorbitol, propylene glycol and purified water.

Indications and Usage

Xylometazoline HCl nasal spray is for application in the nose to provide relief of nasal congestion due to common colds, upper respiratory allergies including hay fever and sinusitis.

Dosage & Administration

For application in the nose only. For adults and children 12 years old and above: Apply 2 to 3 sprays in each nostril every 8 to 10 hours, or as prescribed by a physician. Do not use xylometazoline HCl 0.1% in children less than 12 years old. If you missed a dose, spray the dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with the usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose or apply extra doses.
